Volunteer agreement.

Identification of the organization

Associação Humanitária É Por Amor, operating under the name ONG É Por Amor, registered with the Brazilian CNPJ under No. 40.356.591/0001-59, is a nonprofit civil society organization, with no religious or party-political affiliation, working to fight poverty and hunger by offering support to people and families in situations of social vulnerability.

Purpose of the agreement

This agreement establishes the general conditions for voluntary participation in activities, actions, projects, campaigns, administrative routines, support activities, communication, logistics, organization, assistance, distribution, events and other initiatives carried out or coordinated by ONG É Por Amor.

Nature of volunteer work

The volunteer declares that they are aware that their participation is free, voluntary, unpaid and carried out on their own initiative, creating no employment relationship, labor obligation, social security obligation, functional relationship, contractual relationship or any form of subordination typical of employment.

Any participation in actions or activities of ONG É Por Amor does not imply a promise of hiring, remuneration, stipend, recurring call-up or mandatory continuity of volunteer work.

Registration and call-up

Completing the volunteer registration form does not guarantee immediate call-up or the automatic start of activities. ONG É Por Amor may assess the compatibility between the registered person’s profile, availability, the organization’s real needs, the logistics of the activities and the safety of the people involved.

Call-up may occur according to demand, profile, availability, location, experience, area of interest and the operational capacity of ONG É Por Amor at each moment.

Areas of volunteer work

The volunteer may work, according to the needs and authorization of ONG É Por Amor, in one or more areas, such as:

• social actions in Manguinhos and other areas served by the organization;
• actions with people experiencing homelessness;
• support for the Community Kitchen and food-related activities;
• organization, sorting, separation and distribution of donations;
• administrative support, communication, fundraising, logistics, events and projects;
• technical, professional or specialized activities, when applicable.

Responsibilities of the volunteer

The volunteer undertakes to act with responsibility, respect, punctuality, ethics, discretion, care and alignment with the guidance of the coordination team of ONG É Por Amor.

• respect the dignity, image, story and privacy of the people served;
• follow the guidance of the coordination team before, during and after activities;
• communicate in advance any inability to participate, delays or withdrawals;
• not act on behalf of ONG É Por Amor without express authorization;
• not make commitments, promises or agreements with people assisted, partners or third parties without authorization;
• care for the materials, spaces, equipment and resources used in the activities;
• maintain a respectful attitude toward people assisted, volunteers, staff, donors, partners and the community.

Privacy, confidentiality and protection of the people served

The volunteer undertakes not to disclose, expose, share or publish personal information, stories, images, addresses, family situations, social conditions, health data, accounts, vulnerabilities or any sensitive information about the people served by ONG É Por Amor.

Contact with people in situations of vulnerability must always take place with respect, care, responsible listening and without improper exposure.

Use of image, photos and videos

The volunteer declares that they are aware that photos, videos, recordings, livestreams, interviews, testimonials or any records of activities may only be made or published with prior authorization from ONG É Por Amor.

The publication of images or content that exposes people served in a humiliating, sensationalist, exploitative, discriminatory or human-dignity-incompatible way is prohibited.

ONG É Por Amor may record images of activities for institutional purposes, accountability, communication, transparency, fundraising and social impact disclosure, always seeking to preserve the dignity of the people involved.

Use of data provided in the registration form

The volunteer authorizes the use of the data provided in the registration form exclusively for the purposes of organization, screening, communication, volunteer management, call-up for activities, internal records, institutional relationship and compliance with legal or administrative obligations related to volunteering.

ONG É Por Amor undertakes to handle this data responsibly and not to use it for purposes incompatible with volunteer management.

Institutional communications

The volunteer may receive communications from ONG É Por Amor by email, phone, WhatsApp or other channels provided in the registration form, including call-ups, guidance, campaigns, reports, news, support opportunities and institutional information.

The volunteer may request cancellation of these communications at any time, except for those necessary to organize activities in which they are involved.

Health, safety and limits of participation

The volunteer declares that they will participate in activities while observing their own physical, emotional and availability limits, and undertakes to inform the coordination team of any condition that may interfere with their safe participation.

ONG É Por Amor may guide, limit, suspend or refuse voluntary participation in a given activity when it understands that there is a risk to the volunteer, the people assisted, the team, the operation or the safety of the activity.

Expenses, transportation and stipends

As a general rule, volunteer work will not be paid. Any reimbursements, stipends or expense repayments will only occur if previously authorized by ONG É Por Amor, according to internal criteria, financial availability and presentation of receipts when requested.

Expenses incurred on one’s own initiative do not automatically create an obligation for ONG É Por Amor to reimburse them.

Institutional representation

The volunteer may not present themselves as an official representative, spokesperson, coordinator, employee, service provider or person responsible for ONG É Por Amor without express authorization.

The volunteer may also not use the name, logo, institutional image, social media channels, documents, contacts, lists, materials or resources of ONG É Por Amor for personal, commercial, political, religious, party-political or unauthorized purposes.

Incompatible conduct

Conduct such as the following may result in suspension or termination of volunteer participation:

• disrespect toward people assisted, staff, volunteers, partners or the community;
• improper exposure of the people served;
• unauthorized use of images, data, name or brand of ONG É Por Amor;
• failure to comply with the guidance of the coordination team;
• discriminatory, aggressive, abusive, invasive or embarrassing attitudes;
• unauthorized promises, approaches or initiatives involving people assisted, donors or partners;
• use of activities for self-promotion, image exploitation or any purpose incompatible with the organization’s mission.

Termination of volunteer participation

Volunteer participation may be terminated at any time, either by the volunteer or by ONG É Por Amor, with no need for formal justification, at no cost and without creating any relationship or compensation obligation.

Whenever possible, it is recommended that the volunteer communicate in advance their inability to continue, so that the organization can reorganize itself.

Declaration of awareness and acceptance

By completing the volunteer registration form, checking the corresponding acceptance field or signing this agreement, the volunteer declares that they have read, understood and agree with the conditions established herein, acknowledging that their participation will be voluntary, unpaid, without employment relationship and subject to the needs and guidance of ONG É Por Amor.
