The Home Care Project supports families facing social vulnerability with food, hygiene products, cleaning supplies and essential items for everyday family life.
The project complements actions against hunger by bringing material support to families supported by ONG É Por Amor.
Hunger does not end when the meal is over.
Many families supported by ONG É Por Amor face challenges that go beyond immediate access to food.
The Home Care Project was created to respond to concrete needs in everyday family life. Whenever we receive food that exceeds the needs of the Community Kitchen, or through campaigns carried out with companies and partners, these items are directed to families facing social vulnerability and supported by the NGO.
In addition to food, the project also directs personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies and highly needed household items, helping ensure basic conditions of dignity inside the home.

Needs are identified through the follow-up of supported families and careful listening to their real living conditions.
Organizing donations
Received items are assessed, sorted and directed according to their usefulness and suitability for each family.
Delivery with dignity
Donations are delivered responsibly, without unnecessary exposure and with a focus on family care.
Simple items can change a family’s routine.
The project operates with flexibility, respecting the urgency and reality of each supported family unit.
Food
Food that exceeds the needs of the Community Kitchen, or that is received through campaigns, can be directed to registered families.
Personal hygiene
Soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitary pads, diapers and other essential personal care items.
Household cleaning
Products that help keep the family environment cleaner, safer and more suitable for children, older adults and adults.
Kitchen items
Pots, utensils, stoves, refrigerators and other resources that directly affect food preparation and storage.
Essential equipment
Fans, mattresses, basic furniture or other items that may arise as concrete needs among families supported by the NGO.
Material support with institutional organization.
Donations from the Home Care Project are directed to families supported by ONG É Por Amor, considering social vulnerability, concrete need and the availability of received items.
The proposal is not to distribute items randomly, but to respond to real situations identified through contact with families, strengthening dignity, safety and care inside the home.
Campaigns that reach families’ everyday lives.
Companies can support the Home Care Project through internal campaigns, item donations, employee mobilization or financial support for the purchase of essential products.
