The Community Life Project by ONG É Por Amor promotes presence, listening and the building of trust-based relationships with families facing social vulnerability, strengthening belonging, mutual care and collective support.
Community life is built through continuous presence, respect for the territory and the development of trust with the people supported.
Fighting hunger also requires relationships, presence and trust.
Social vulnerability is not expressed only through the lack of food. It also appears in isolation, in the absence of support networks, in the lack of listening and in the difficulty of finding possible paths to reorganize everyday life.
For this reason, ONG É Por Amor understands community life as an essential part of responsible humanitarian work. Being present, listening with respect, understanding realities and strengthening relationships allow assistance to be more careful, more dignified and more connected to the real needs of families.

Food is often the entry point to a broader relationship of trust. Through it, ONG É Por Amor becomes closer to families, identifies needs, understands contexts and builds a more consistent presence in the territory.
Informal follow-up on the needs shared by the families supported.
Continuous contact with mothers, children and caregivers in vulnerable situations.
Identification of emergency needs related to food, hygiene, cleaning supplies and basic items.
Building a community relationship based on respect, trust and responsibility.
Collective listening to strengthen trust, belonging and care.
Conversation circles are part of the Community Life Project as simple, safe and respectful spaces for listening and exchange among supported people, volunteers, the NGO team and invited partners.
To create moments of dialogue on everyday issues, family strengthening, community life, basic rights, home care, food, motherhood, childhood, respect and life in the community.
The circles do not replace psychological, legal or specialized social assistance. When necessary, they help identify needs that require proper referral.
Periodic meetings, with small groups, accessible language, respectful listening and themes defined according to the needs perceived in the territory.
Community life is also a form of social governance.
By acting in a close, continuous and respectful way, ONG É Por Amor improves its ability to understand the territory, prioritize needs, organize responses and build actions that are more aligned with the reality of the people served.
The project strengthens transparency in social action because it brings the organization closer to the community’s real needs.
It also contributes to a more mature relationship with partners, companies and donors, showing that the NGO’s work goes beyond the occasional delivery of items or meals.
