Culture for All Project

Art, listening and belonging in Manguinhos.

In partnership with the Versos & Vozes project, ONG É Por Amor brings children, families and community residents closer to cultural experiences that expand perspectives, strengthen bonds and open new possibilities for expression.

Art As a language of dignity, coexistence, imagination and human development within the territory.

Culture is also care.

Social action is not limited to delivering food or essential items. For ONG É Por Amor, fighting poverty also means expanding access to experiences that are often far from the daily lives of children, adolescents and families facing vulnerability.

The Culture for All Project was born from this understanding: art can be a bridge to listening, affection, expression and the recognition of each person as a subject of rights, stories and possibilities.

A partnership that brings poetry, art and presence to the territory.

Versos & Vozes is an itinerant social project that uses poetry, art and words as tools for humanization and social transformation. In Manguinhos, this partnership allows children to take part in workshops, creative experiences and moments of collective expression.

Areas of action

The project unfolds through two complementary dimensions.

One takes place within the community, through cultural activities, and the other beyond it, expanding access to the city’s artistic spaces.

01

Workshops, poetry and artistic expression

In partnership with Versos & Vozes, cultural gatherings are held with children from Manguinhos, using art, poetry and listening as tools for coexistence, creativity and personal strengthening.

02

Access to performances and cultural experiences

ONG É Por Amor also receives tickets for plays, performances and cultural activities, organizing the logistics so that people from the community can experience art beyond their usual daily routine.

Cultural access

Sometimes the city must also reach the community.

Receiving tickets to performances allows children, young people and families to encounter other languages, spaces and cultural experiences.

1

Receiving the opportunity

The NGO receives invitations, tickets or proposals to participate in cultural events, assessing their suitability for the people served.

2

Organizing participants

The team mobilizes families and beneficiaries, confirms availability, guides guardians and structures participation in an organized way.

3

Access logistics

The NGO supports transportation, communication and accompaniment, reducing barriers that prevent community participation in cultural experiences.

4

Experience and belonging

Participation in performances and cultural activities broadens perspectives, strengthens self-esteem and reinforces the idea that art also belongs to the people served.

Social impact

Art is not accessory. It is part of dignity.

In contexts of vulnerability, access to culture can create spaces for relief, imagination and symbolic reconstruction. The Culture for All Project reinforces that children and families do not only need to survive: they also have the right to create, feel, move through the city and dream.

Human development Expanding perspectives, expression and creativity.
Community coexistence Activities that strengthen bonds and collective listening.
Access to the city Participation in cultural spaces outside the territory’s daily routine.
Right to culture Art as an experience of belonging, not a privilege.

Support actions that connect art, childhood and dignity.

Companies, cultural producers, theaters, artists and supporters can collaborate by offering tickets, workshops, transportation, financial support or new cultural experiences for the community of Manguinhos.
